About the event
Kids attending this program will learn how to play the popular Dungeons & Dragons roleplaying game.
Each Tuesday kids will spend 2.5 hours away from electronics or interruptions to explore exciting group storytelling. They will be presented challenging social and logic puzzles and allowed to choose their own solutions working as a group.
Sessions are led by an experienced game mediator (Dungeon Master) to ensure the game runs smoothly and the atmosphere remains positive.
Kids must be 8 years old or older to play.
Taborspace is located a convenient 3 blocks from Glencoe Elementary.
This event requires a minimum of 5 participants. If we end up not getting that number by 12/27, we will cancel and refund any purchased tickets.
Winter Afterschool D&D
Kids will be led through a 2.5-hour session of Dungeon & Dragons each Tuesday for 8 weeks. Each child will be able to customize their own story to allow them to explore the adventure in their own way. At the end of the 8 weeks, the kids will have completed a fantasy story arch. They will also have a clear understanding of the rules and how to run the game on their own if they so desire. Games will be held on the following dates in 2020: 1/7, 1/14, 1/21, 1/28, 2/4, 2/11, 2/18, 2/25
